Learn how to Vote - with the new voting machines! PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Be Ready to Vote on Primary Day!

voting_machine.pngVoters in Westchester County will see new optical scan voting machines at their polling places beginning this September with the Primary Election and again at the November General Election and beyond. These machines will replace the mechanical lever machines, which will no longer be used in elections conducted by the Westchester County Board of Elections.

Your town and city clerks are working in partnership with the Board of Elections to ensure voters are comfortable voting on the new machines. At your local municipal offices you can actually see a demonstration and receive hands-on instruction. Please call the clerk's office at the number on this website to set up an appointment.
