The mission of the New Castle Recreation and Parks Commission is to enhance the quality of life in New Castle through sports and other leisure recreational experiences and to provide a safe environment that emphasizes fun and the joy of personal development through participation and discovery at all ages. Click here for the newest Registration for Winter programs will begin on Monday, November 23rd. The Art lottery registrations will be accepted from Monday, November 23rd - Friday, December 11th. Most classes will begin the week of January 11th, but check the specific class and program listings for start dates for each program. Art Classes will begin the week of January 4th. *Please note ONLY Art Center class registrations will be done by lottery, all other registrations are first come, first served. - Get Fit in 2010!

If you resolved to get healthier in 2010, you've probably started evaluating exercise programs and healthy foods to eat. Don't forget to include the Fitness Classes offered by the New Castle Recreation and Parks Dept. as a part of your Get Fit Plan. The Recreation Department offers a variety of classes for adults of all ages and all fitness levels. Classes are offered during both day and evening, Mon - Friday. Aerobics, Fitness, Cardio, Stretching and Strengthening are offered through a variety of classes including: Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Belly Dancing and T'ai Chi.
To view the full list of program offerings, visit the Adult Fitness page of the Recreation Department on-line brochure by going to Recreation.MyNewCastle.org. Classes begin the week of January 11. Registration is still available and may be done by mail, on-line, or in person at the New Castle Recreation and Parks Office located at Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Ave. Chappaqua.

The Winter 2009/2010 Program Brochure is currently available online. The brochure will no longer be mailed to residences as a part of "Going Green" program in New Castle.
Registration for Winter programs will begin Monday, November 23rd. The Art lottery registrations will be accepted from Monday, November 23rd - Friday, December 11th. Check the start dates for all programs as they may vary. Please note, dance registrations will be processed first come, first served. The lottery will not apply to dance programs this season.
